Hospitality Computing Applications (HND)

Information and Communication Technology is a core component in the Hospitality Industry and without it, the industry cannot perform its function in the contemporary, digital society. This course is intended to provide students with an understanding of the main functions of computer hardware and software in the hospitality industry, how it is applied in both local international contexts, and acquire the basic competencies to analyse and design systems implementation. This is done from a business and managerial perspective, though the technological perspective will be constantly taken into account.
