The objective of this module is to organize on-site visits/field visits, which will provide Foundation students with basic factual insights and an understanding of the different environments within which the Maltese travel, tourism, and hospitality industry operate.
This module provides students with opportunities for learning via participation, understanding the relevance of the places visited, permitting the transference of knowledge, and allowing for feedback to be provided. Moreover, it highlights the importance of cultural and historical sites and other touristic services/products, which attract tourists to visit Malta.
At the end of this module, students will be expected to present a learning diary where they express their experiences and discuss the likes and dislikes of their visits.
